Virginia wins honors at NWTF Convention! EDGEFIELD, S.C. — The Virginia State Chapter and it’s dedicated Volunteers won three awards at the NWTF Convention in Nashville, Feb. 18-21. Master Officer Cleggett Gregory Funkhouser has earned the National Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award for his efforts in conserving America's wildlife.
2010 VA Spring Seed Subsidy The Virginia State Chapter Board of Directors is pleased to offer its members the opportunity to purchase Turkey Gold® Chufa and S&R® Northeast/Midwest Perennial Mix at a subsidized price.  The Virginia State Hunting Heritage Super Fund will pay for 50 percent of the seed and shipping charges.  
Franklin Co JAKES Event The Franklin Co. Longbeards didn't let heavy rains dampen their Fall JAKES event. Participants enjoyed events ranging from archery to trout fishing. At left, volunteer Bryce Young holds a huge trout caught by one of the young JAKES!
Waynlee Zollman - Vote for Outdoor Life 25 2010 Now in its third year, the OL 25 program honors 25 men and women who have changed the face of hunting and fishing. Waynlee Zollman, a founding member and the first president of the Rockbridge Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation in Lexington, has been nominated for this prestigious award.
